Julian O'Sullivan
Director
With 27 years of industry experience offering project leadership and design to a myriad of differing commissions, Julian’s diverse professional and project background enables him to easily transition from one sector to another and to apply a wider scope of thought to the design and delivery process.
Julian’s result’s orientated approach enabled the recent successful delivery of several intricately serviced large commercial and public sector projects. His design leadership role on the seismically resilient WSP House in Christchurch, the delicate heritage redevelopment of Dunedin Town Hall and the multi-stakeholder Connetic’s and Rakiura Museum developments allowed his focused management style to shine.
Julian prides himself on his proactive manner working alongside clients, contractors, consultants and team members to provide exceptional design service of the highest standard.

Matt Sloper
Director - Architect
Matt is a New Zealand registered architect and has had leading roles on varied and complex projects across the country, in particular Christchurch and Dunedin, expanding his knowledge base and expertise in correctional, justice, education and hospitality sectors.
His expertise and attention to detail proved vital in the successful delivery of the Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precinct and the historic redevelopment of the former Chief Post Office Dunedin into a luxury hotel.
Matt’s commercial acuity is proven where timely delivery and managed results were critical to project success and his design capability recognised and rewarded by numerous design awards.
Formally employed at WSP Architecture for 16 years, Matt established Studio 4 Architects in 2021 bringing together an extensive commercial and residential architectural portfolio.
